Job Description: We are seeking a Licensed or Pre-Licensed Therapist to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled mental health professional who is dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults and families overcome life's challenges and improve their mental health. As a therapist at Cerebrum, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, provide evidence-based therapy, and collaborate with a supportive team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions for individuals across the lifespan
- Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Complete session notes in a timely manner
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with other team members and participate in case consultations
- Stay current with the latest developments in the field of mental health
- Complete minor billing realted duties pertaining to caseload
- Collaborate with other professionals on the treatment team including, teachers, psychiatrists, social workers etc.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Current and valid state licensure or pre-licensure as a therapist (e.g., LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, or Psychologist)
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in evidence-based therapies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to complete related paperwork in a timely manner
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to helping others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
