The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, aligning project goals with organizational needs and ensuring smooth transitions throughout each project phase.

The EHR Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing complex MEDITECH Expanse implementation projects for healthcare organizations. This role requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive management to ensure successful project delivery, on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, aligning project goals with organizational needs and ensuring smooth transitions throughout each project phase.
Responsibilities
- Hybrid in Nashville, TN
- Travel 25% or less to the client site in the East Coast.
- Assists with documentation that relates to technical, functional requirements, or documentation that provides client system guidance.
- Uses knowledge to contribute to client workflow and gap analysis, independently with general/moderate guidance to complete documentation utilizing department standards.
- Assists client in system build activities.
- Participates in testing events and understands necessary outcomes.
- Provides onsite and off-site support for client and peers.
- Prioritizes own tasks and is able to follow instructions to execute tasks.
- Is able to identify risk and issues and follow escalation plan.
- Executes projects task within defined scope and timeline, appropriately following, implementation management methodology.
- Adheres to proper project tracking, for issue & risk escalation processes and completes status reporting per project/department requirements.
- Communicates feedback from clients and escalates to project leadership.
- Uses professional knowledge and experience to advise the client on optimal workflows and system functions.
- Participates in post project review and documentation revision with general/moderate supervision.
- Uses experience to develop client deliverables including, but not limited to, requirements documents, functional design documents, status reports, etc. with general/moderate supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Must be local to the greater Nashville, TN
- 3-5 years of Healthcare/EHR Project Management experience required.
- Hospital operational experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in full EHR lifecycle consulting required with experience implementing pharmacy, oncology, ancillaries, surgery etc.
- Experience in participating in project teams defining project requirements for their area of expertise.
- Intermediate to Expert ability to work in Office suite products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Power Point
- Strong organization skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
