The Project Manager I will assist in project coordination, documentation and communication to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing MEDITECH Expanse implementation projects, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support project goals, scope, and deliverables.
- Contribute to documentation of technical and functional requirements, providing system guidance to clients.
- Participate in workflow and gap analysis, offering recommendations for process improvements.
- Support system build activities and participate in testing events to ensure quality outcomes.
- Provide onsite and remote support for clients and team members.
- Identify risks and issues, escalating them appropriately per project guidelines.
- Maintain proper project tracking, status reporting, and adherence to issue and risk escalation processes.
- Assist in post-project review and documentation updates.
- 0-2 years of experience in project coordination, healthcare IT, or related fields.
- Exposure to EHR systems (such as MEDITECH) is a plus but not required.
- Internship or academic experience in project management or healthcare IT highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and accountable approach.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor with a customer service focus.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) are preferred.
