Job Summary
The Quality Control Systems Manager for Disaster Relief is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and effectiveness of relief operations in response to disasters or humanitarian crises. The Quality Control Systems Manager works closely with various stakeholders, including relief agencies, government authorities, and affected communities, to uphold the highest standards of service delivery in challenging environments.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Standards Implementation: Implementing quality assurance standards to ensure that relief efforts adhere to established guidelines and best practices.
- Supply Chain Management: Overseeing the quality of relief supplies and materials throughout the supply chain, from procurement to distribution, to ensure that only safe and appropriate items reach beneficiaries.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems to assess the effectiveness and impact of relief efforts, including tracking the quality of services provided and identifying areas for improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of relief operations, including documentation of procedures, materials, and outcomes. Generating regular reports on quality control activities and findings for stakeholders and donors.
- Training and Capacity Building: Providing training and capacity-building initiatives for staff and volunteers involved in relief operations, including instruction on quality control protocols and procedures.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks to the quality and safety of relief efforts and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborating with other organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders involved in relief efforts to ensure consistency and coordination in quality control measures across all phases of disaster response.

- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and international standards governing humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, standards, and ability to follow instructions.

- Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR results.
