Job Summary
This leader has operational accountability and oversight and manages the daily activities of Echo and Vascular Services. This position is responsible for the development and application of standards set by our cardiovascular diagnostic societies and accreditation body for evidence-based practice to enhance the quality of care provided to the patients. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Require a bachelor's degree in applicable healthcare field. Master's degree is preferred.
- Require current licensure or certification as an RN, RRT, CVT, cardiovascular credentialed sonographer or other pertinent allied health professional.
- Require a minimum of three (3) years of non-invasive experience in cardiology or vascular technology, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory or managerial role.

- Prefer excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, to include composing correspondence and reports.

- Prefer strong organizational and time management skills to maximize productivity and outcomes.
- Prefer the ability to build strong relationships with staff and customers and delivering high quality service, as well as the ability to handle difficult situations and conversations.
