Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including food handling practices.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred; experience in a nightclub or high-volume setting is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must possess valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain one.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
