Cerritos College is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Full-Time, Tenured Nursing Instructor position in our Associate Degree Nursing Program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching didactic and clinical courses in Adult Medical Surgical Nursing, developing curriculum, and participating in departmental committees. Additionally, you will work closely with other faculty members and health agencies to provide high-quality instruction and mentorship to our students.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Teach didactic and clinical courses in the ASN program
- Develop curriculum and participate in departmental committees
- Work closely with other faculty members and health agencies to provide high-quality instruction and mentorship
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing and a minimum of two years of registered nursing experience in direct patient care or teaching
- Active California Registered Nursing License
- Understanding of and sensitivity to meeting the needs of a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic background of the student population
