Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time dedicated and detail-oriented accounting assistant to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a basic understanding of accounting principles, particularly accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Duties
- Provide clerical support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Utilize accounting software to manage accounts and financial data.
- Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.
Requirements
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics financial software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Some post-secondary education in accounting preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
