Job Overview
A Commercial Production Associate at CertaPro Painters of Rhode Island is responsible for Production oversight, to ensure production goals are achieved, and expectations of the clients are met by organizing, communicating and coaching painters to improve quality and efficiency.
They are responsible for leading and supporting members of the team to achieve company goals, individual development, and strategic growth by maintaining regular contact and communication with sales, employees, and subcontractors at all levels of the organization.
CertaPro Painters of Rhode Island is an independently owned and operated franchisee of CertaPro Painters, Ltd. CertaPro Painters began operations in 1992 and has become the largest residential and commercial painting company in North America.
Responsibilities:
- Review contracts prior to the start of work to ensure your understanding of the scope of work, clarify details and prepare to confidently guide our painters through the job, start to finish.
- Communicate with staff and painters to ensure project expectations are clear.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, operations and retention of new painters and staff members when necessary.
- Create a painter-focused culture; promote great performance and positive morale.
- Coach Job Site Supervisors on effective job planning to protect profit.
- Maximize production capacity through efficient daily management of labor
- Conduct in-person daily job site visits and provide updates following each site visit to the production/sales team
- Quality control visits, job site kick offs and final walk-throughs with clients
- Enforcing all safety policies
- Participate in annual reviews of field staff
- Travel to key events such as National Conference, Training Sessions and Leadership Off-site training as needed
- Ensure positive customer service experience throughout the production process.
- Work with the leadership team to determine values, mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Adopt, train and utilize new technologies and or procedures

Requirements
- Previous experience in the paint industry and/or construction is required. Min 5 years
- Bi-lingual candidates are preferred and will be heavily weighted during the decision process
- Project Management experience
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30 (preffered)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to complete written reports legibly
- Ability to find and read Safety Data Sheets, Material Data Sheets and Work Orders
- Ability to implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures
- Detail-oriented and take pride in your work.

- Valid Driver’s License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
