Our clients range in size from locally owned small businesses to the largest retailers in America, many of which have relied on us for over fifty years to provide check verification and warranty services, Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment solutions, and risk management expertise.
We are searching for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for providing analytical decision support and performance analysis on the key expense drivers in the business. The primary goal of the position is to assist the Finance Manager and help drive profitable results. The Financial Analyst will have full ownership and responsibility for the recording and valuation of all operating expenses for all business segments, as well as the related accuracy and integrity of reported numbers. The position will also have ownership and responsibility of the analysis, forecasting and budgeting of all operating expenses of the business, as well as participating in the annual financial audit.
This individual must possess excellent analytical skills, critical thinking skills and an attention to detail. They must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. A strong accounting background is required. They must also be able to present complex analysis in a simplified way and have the ability to communicate to a variety of business partners and senior management.
Responsibilities
- Generation of daily reporting of KPI's
- Ability to prepare journal entries and perform various reconciliations
- Participate in month-end close process and prepare a variety of monthly reports
- Communicate financial and operational results and provide analysis / explanations
- Complete accurate forecasts working in partnership with business leaders
- Provide variance analysis to help identify trends of key metrics and potential action needed
- Support business units in preparation of annual strategic planning process
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed
