Job Overview
The Homemaker plays a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need, particularly seniors or those with developmental and physical disabilities. This position located in Plymouth involves ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of resident rights, along with the ability to maintain a clean-living space. Must be ok with dogs, client has 2 medium sized, friendly dogs. Must be COVID/Flu vaccinated with proof. Client is severely immunocompromised, and vaccinations are non-negotiable.

Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the home environment.
• Homemakers monitor an individual's well-being while in the home, including safety.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect resident privacy.
• Advocate for resident rights and promote independence whenever possible.

Requirements

• Previous experience in senior care, home health, or caregiving is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and resident rights is essential.
• Certification in CPR or first aid is highly desirable.
• Ability to cook healthy meals that cater to individual dietary needs.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
