SUMMARY:
This individual will perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement functions on plant equipment and machinery with limited direction and guidance. Areas of responsibility will include all facets of the production environment as well as the facility’s maintenance, HVAC, hydraulics, and electrical work.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To
- Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Wear required PPE at all times
- Follow LOTO procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, mills, hobbing equipment, saws, etc.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to expedite projects and material needs as required.
- Use of CMMS for work orders and preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain a sense of urgency, self-motivation, and overall good work ethic
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Knowledge of practices used in CNC and mechanical machine diagnostics and repair, as well as building, electrical or mechanical trades required
- Must read and understand diagrams, schematics, engineering prints, and mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems manuals.
- Must possess basic fabrication techniques that would be used in machine repair, including welding and use of cutting torches, cutting and grinding
- Must be able to use electrical test equipment to identify, analyze, and resolve electrical problems.
- Must possess a “strong hands-on” attitude and knowledge of electrical, electronic, PLC controls, and computerized components of CNC and manual machines.
- PLC troubleshooting and reading
- Ability to read ladder logic
- Ability to work autonomously
- CNC programing and operation
- Must have 3 years of maintenance troubleshooting and repair experience
- Post-high school education/training in Electronics, Machine Repair, Maintenance, or equivalent experience
- Specific knowledge of Fanuc controls and Haas is desired
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Prior work experience in, paper machines, CNCs, printing presses, and/or other manufacturing processing machines is a plus
- Computer literate in Windows
- Basic welding knowledge
- Forklift and areal lift operation
- Lockout-Tagout and NFPA70E Arc flash training
