Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain facilities by performing basic maintenance tasks and reporting any issues to management.
- Carry out floor care activities such as buffing and stripping floors to ensure they are well-maintained.
- Assist with custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring that all areas are clean and presentable for staff and visitors.
- Support residential painting efforts when needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the facilities.
- Act as a porter when necessary, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment as directed.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is beneficial.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and floor care methods such as buffing is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
