- Experience with both digital and analog design. VHDL experience preferred.
- Ability to perform initial board bring-up and troubleshooting.
- Experience with hardware/firmware/software integration.
- Understanding of configuration management, requirements traceability and related processes.
- Understanding of embedded software programming (C language) is a plus.
- Ability to design, analyze, troubleshoot and test electronics.
- Experience in writing reports and test procedures.
- Experience performing validation and verification of requirements while ensuring conformance to DO-254 processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (EE, CE or CS); Master's Degree preferred
- At least 3 years experience in the design, development and qualification of aerospace electronics
- MUST know data communications protocols.
- Written and verbal communication.
- Experience with VHDL design and verification.
- Knowledge of DO-178B and DO-254 standards preferred.
- Ability to travel (including outside the U.S.) up to 25%.
