Heritage Village of Waterville, a long-term care and Skilled nursing community located in Waterville, Ohio is seeking a new or experienced Activities Director, CTRS, Recreational Therapist, or COTA to join our community and Certus Healthcare family!
Currently seeking 1 qualified candidate to fill the opening.
This position would accommodate a flexible schedule, typically Monday through Friday with some need to cover holidays and weekends.
Our Hiring Timeline for this position is between 1 to 2 weeks. Our hiring process includes an onsite interview, online and in person paid orientation, and a period of new hire training.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has prior experience as an Activities Director
- Holds a Certified Activities Director Certification, a CTRS, or an Occupational Therapist License
- Enjoys challenges and has knowledge of how to adapt activities to certain situations
- Has a positive and upbeat attitude
- Has prior knowledge of documentation as well as State and Federal Guidelines
This position is ideal for someone with behavioral health and long-term care background, who wishes to continue impacting lives daily through activity engagements. We are looking for this person to create and maintain a community activities calendar, implement the activities calendar, be a member of the interdisciplinary team within our community and overall create a positive environment.
