What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Valuation Consultant position at CES Limited?
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Independently perform multiple complex valuation assignments on a wide range of illiquid real estate investments distributed across various property types and global locations.
Manage valuation process include analyzing / determining scope of work, gathering data, and preparing and reviewing valuation models.
Prepare and present valuation results in a clear and concise manner.
Analyze and develop investment assumptions related to the current business plans / valuations.
Balance a large number of projects.
Manage multiple internal and external data collection workflows.
Expertise in discounted cash flow (Argus and MS Excel), Sales Comparison Approach, and Cost Approach.
Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
In-depth real estate knowledge and experience.
5-10 years of commercial real estate and private credit valuation experience within valuation / appraisal, Big 4, or another financial advisory firm.
Expertise in real estate financial modeling and complex transaction structuring.
Through understanding of valuation standards (USPAP and IFRS) and financial reporting standards (ASC 820)
Ability to efficiently manage multiple demands and priorities under tight deadlines.
In-depth technical knowledge in corporate finance, valuation methods and accounting.
Proficiency in Argus Enterprise software and MS excel and knowledge of key data sources including Costar, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.
Experience in business and debt valuation a plus but not required.
