General Affairs Specialist; reports to GM HR/Admin- bilingual in Korean
[Job Description]
MAJOR FUNCTION:
1. Serve as a liaison for communicating and understanding cultural differences and
building relationships among team members.
2. Translate documents from English to Korean and Korean to English.
3. Assist Executive Director with translating documents, written and verbal.
4. Assist the HR department as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Make recommendations to senior management on cultural issues.
2. Verbal communication of policies and procedures in Korean through the HR
Department.
3. Assist the HR Department in the written translation of policies and procedures.
4. Assist where needed in communicating to County and State for grants and
abatement of taxes.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
[Qualifications]
PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:
1. Four year degree.
2. Prior less than 2 year experience as General Affairs Specialist.
3. Speak and write fluent Korean and English.
Personal Characteristics:
1. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction
with day-to-day activities.
2. Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities,
tactful, mature, flexible.
