Position Summary
The General Affairs Specialist is responsible for activities related to maintaining the general material facility of the building and the property of Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain Inc. This position will also support the other divisions of Human Resources as needed and as assigned.
Essential Functions
Corporate:
- Treats all HTGP team members with respect and professional courtesy.
- Adheres to the HTGP policies and procedures and leads others in same methods.
- Confirms and adheres to all required HTGP Certification standards such as IATF16949, ISO 45001
- Always maintains pro-team member environment.
- Learns, demonstrates and upholds the HTGP Core Values.
- Manages the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget
- Performs special assignments as required by management.
EHS:
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
- Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment
- Consistently meets company safety goals
Technical:
- Meets and greets visitors.
- Acts as interpreter & translates written material as necessary.
- Assists with general facility-related issues.
- Assists with company cell phone program.
- Distributes daily mail and overnight packaging
- Establishes and maintains highly organized General Affairs filing system.
- Coordinates travel & accommodation arrangements for all HTGP employees and visitors (when needed) traveling to HTGP.
- Handling expense reporting, invoice processing for GA activities
- Orders and maintains office supplies
- Coordinates company Team Wear program
- Coordinates relocation activities including (but not limited to) housing, schools, utilities and driver’s licenses per company policy
- Assists with company automobile program including car replacement, tags, insurance, maintenance and accident reporting.
- Assists with coordination of company events & activities.
- Generates reports and other information as requested by management team members.
- Responsible for supporting CEO including (but not limited to) scheduling, handling visitors and answering questions and requests
Leadership:
- Leading by Example - Sets example for fellow co-workers within field of work by demonstrating behaviors with professionalism and responsibility
- Lead collaborative and informative meetings to resolve tor improve HTGP performance.
- Proactively meets HTGP KPI requirements in order to meeting organizational goals.
- Actively support all HTGP GA programs/polices
- Clearly communicates HTGP’s GA performance, goals & progress to all employees at HTGP
Education
- High School/GED
- 4 Year Degree or comparable background of work related experience in facilitation and/or instructional system design

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess the basic ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Must satisfactorily complete HTGP hiring process requirements, which includes phone interview, in-person interview, medical and functional assessment, drug screen and background check.
- Candidates must be able to work some overtime hours and occasional weekend days.
- Candidates must be capable of working on their feet for long periods, demonstrating hand dexterity and tolerating repetitious work patterns.
