Job Description:
Cetronia Ambulance Corps is seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team on a Basic Life Support (BLS) shift. As an EMT, you will play a crucial role in providing pre-hospital care and transportation for patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care and service to our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide efficient and effective pre-hospital care.
- Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate medical treatment following established protocols.
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while ensuring their comfort and stability.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient care reports and documentation.
- Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment in a state of readiness.
- Collaborate with other EMTs, paramedics, and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with medical practices and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid EMT certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations.
