Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our site operations, ensuring seamless execution of service agreements with customers. As a Night Shift Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the operations staff, maximizing profitability through exceptional customer service and effective communication.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct inbound and/or outbound site operations to meet or exceed customer standards.
- Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels support operational demands and business objectives.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment by inspecting and scheduling maintenance and ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Manage administrative functions to process paperwork efficiently and meet compliance requirements.
- Cultivate and mentor direct reports through coaching, training, and quality management activities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent and at least five years of related experience, with a minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Prior experience in 3PL/Tier 1 Automotive logistics is highly valued.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications.
- An ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
