What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Integrated Events position at CEW?
The Senior Manager, Integrated Events reports to the Senior Events Director and has three main responsibilities: planning and execution of events, managing key CEW sponsors and high-level honorees under the oversight of the CEW Development team, and working with the VP, Marketing to forge partnerships that elevate and increase brand awareness for CEW.
This role requires creative ideation, strategic thinking, impeccable organizational skills, the ability to clearly communicate internally and externally with the highest professional standards, and proven ability to manage and cultivate junior Events team members.
As a key member of the Events department, they will collaborate with all staff across the organization’s departments including Membership, Marketing, Finance, Content, and Development.
Key Responsibilities:
Events
- Assume management responsibilities for the planning and execution of assigned programs and events, both live and virtual.
- Develop and work according to event timelines and deadlines for deliverables.
- Be proficient in doing a Run of Show and provide regular event updates to the staff
- Collaborate with event vendors to ensure seamless production of events, adhering to budgetary restrictions and sponsor specifications.
- Attend industry events to gather industry intelligence and report to the team.
Sponsor Liaison
- Work closely with the CEW Development team and Sponsors to ensure seamless event planning and execution of sponsor deliverables.
- Act as main contact for Honorees (C-Suite individuals), working seamlessly with their team as well as CEW staff. This includes call prep documents, PowerPoint decks, regular check-ins, developing and managing timelines, and more.
- Be an idea generator: participate in meetings with Development to brainstorm new sponsor activations and/or add value to current proposals.
Marketing
- Write proposals, sell sheets, and general event marketing tools that assist the teams in securing sponsorship and new revenue.
- Coordinate event marketing and promotional materials in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Spearhead current in-kind partnerships and actively seek, foster, and pursue new ones that enhance brand presence and event success.
General
- Promote and implement best practices from successful work environments, customizing these practices to drive departmental success.
- Provide insight, perspective, and information across multiple departments to enhance organizational capabilities.
- Regularly use creative and resourceful approaches to improve work efficiencies, reduce costs, and progress towards departmental goals.
- Advocate for team members among colleagues and external stakeholders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years of experience within the events field
- Ability to think strategically and creatively and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in the beauty industry preferred
