What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Coordinator position at CF Legal Recruiting and Staffing?

A top mid size law firm has created a new role of Legal Talent Specialist who will working closely with the of Director of Human Resources on attorney recruiting and development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Create, post and maintain attorney employment openings
- Utilize various sourcing strategies to identify top legal talent, including networking, referrals, online job boards, and social media
- Screen resumes
- Review applications and conduct initial screenings
- Schedule and coordinate interviews for attorney candidates
- Track attorney interview process
- Prepare offer letters
- Distribute new attorney hire information, resume and other materials to the HR Generalist for entry into HRIS
- Prepare legal recruiting placement agreements and track legal recruiting agreements
- Conduct reference checks
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement
Performance Management and Development:
- Maintain attorney performance evaluations
- Create and retain performance documentation
- Work with Department Chairs and Director of HR to address any performance concerns
- Work with Department Chairs and Director of HR on Training & Development programs
CLE and Attorney Registration Compliance:
- Enroll all new attorneys in PLI
- Track and enter CLE certificates, update and distribute reports to all attorneys
- Assist with CLE accreditation process for internally led training
- Track NYS Attorney Registration status for new hires and annually for existing lawyers
- Circulate reminders to lawyers regarding renewal and/or delinquent status
Mentorship Program:
- Coordinate and mange mentorship assignments
- Conduct quarterly check-ins with mentors/mentees
Attorney Relations:
- Analyze market data and trends to recommend adjustments to practices
- Work with firm leadership to develop and communicate strategies to support engagement
- Foster ongoing relationships with attorneys, serving as a trusted adviser and point of contact
- Track and maintain administrative action items from Department Chairs meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the legal sector
- Proven track record of successful placements
- Strong understanding of the legal industry, including various practice areas and organizational structures
