We are seeking a highly motivated an early career Bioinformatics Data Scientist with expertise in multiomic analysis and tool development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research, working on projects funded by the DoD, NIH, FDA and industry. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI / ML models that integrate multimodal data to support biomedical research and health risk prediction models.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop bioinformatic analyses, construction of AI / ML models, and development of computational tools, databases, and graphical user interfaces for multimodal / multiomics data.
- Collaborate with CFD Research's computational biologists, data scientists, and software engineers to design and interpret bioinformatic studies and tools.
- Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and publications.
- Stay current with advances in computational biology and bioinformatics skills to incorporate best practices and innovative approaches.
