As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our relationships with key clients. You will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of our clients are met and that their satisfaction remains high. Additionally, you will work closely with internal teams to coordinate and execute projects, ensuring that all deadlines are met, and all deliverables are of the highest quality.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and solve problems. They will be highly organized and able to juggle various responsibilities and tasks. Experience in the vinyl flooring or building products industry and knowledge of key account management principles are highly preferred.

Responsibilities :

  • Work and assist Director of Marketing with day-to-day marketing projects.
  • Review and check social media marketing posts for accuracy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Participate in regular marketing team calls with international team (early AM or evenings).
  • Collaborate closely with CEO, President, & VP of Distribution Channels and their sales teams to execute marketing initiatives and provide project update reports to Director of Marketing.
  • Lead marketing-related training calls with sales teams and / or executive team.
  • Coordinate merchandising production projects with internal and external vendors.
  • Critique and approve marketing materials with a keen awareness of both the US market's preferences and the brand's voice with strong attention to graphic design and grammatical details.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to help design and create visually appealing marketing materials such as sell sheet flyers or trade show banners.
  • Be familiar with following brand guidelines closely to ensure there is consistency with brand aesthetics and messaging.
  • Help update and manage brand dashboards of analytical performance metrics for the Director of Marketing & Channel Leaders.
  • Take project ownership through procurement, management, budget, and willingness to gather all necessary supplies for various marketing projects and / or events with extreme cost awareness.
  • Work with international brand managers in editing, critiquing marketing collateral drafts (retail displays, architect folders, chain sets, digital ads, booth banners, signage, sell sheets, etc.) and help coordinate final approvals from executive team.
  • Update and maintain multiple-flooring showrooms for the corresponding Channel leaders with proper sampling, retail displays, and signage.
  • Assist Director of Marketing with coordinating key customer events, photoshoots, and national trade show booths.
  • Proactively monitor and make necessary problem-solving recommendations to executive team such as anything involving new product launches, workflows, events, or customer requests.
  • Assist Channel leaders in meeting preparations regarding facility, scheduling, PowerPoint presentations, trim matching, meeting meals, or sales materials.
  • Coordinate with internal logistics team on merchandising related logistics in timely fashion via LTL / Air freight / Full truck load / Fed Ex / UPS and work to coordinate vendor material pickups and drop offs for merchandising production.
  • Able to acquire and maintain with trustworthiness company credit card and accurately perform monthly expense reports on time.
  • Attend industry trade shows and market research in retail store visits as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and platforms.
  • Self-starter with an intense sense of curiosity and urgency to complete tasks.
  • Preferred flooring product & industry knowledge and / or working experience.
  • Able to articulate clearly marketing related issues either verbally or in text for presentations and / or in team meetings.
  • Familiarity with market research techniques and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for designing or editing marketing materials (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Must have good eye for graphic design, color and use of brand guidelines to be able to critique marketing artwork thoroughly.
  • Preferred experience with using project management software (Microsoft Tasks / Trello / Click Up / Teams / SharePoint).
  • Experience using a CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics) to capture sales metrics to build marketing strategies going forward.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, take ownership, and able to accept and manage inevitable changes with ease.
  • Proficient / expert level experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have strong creative organizational skills with positive team-oriented problem-solving abilities.
  • Will report to US Director of Marketing at the CFL USA plant office in Adairsville, GA. M-F, salary position.
  • Some travel is required (approx. 10%).
