Key Responsibilities:
- Record information about financial status of customers and status of collection efforts.
- Locate and monitor overdue accounts, using computers and a variety of automated systems.
- Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts.
- Receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts.
- Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes and purging the records of deceased customers.
- Invoice and deliver customer shipments after validating proper documentation.
- Complete short administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor related to duties.
- Collect deposits, payments, or fees.
- File documents or records.
- Maintain financial or account records.
- Monitor financial information
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in business-to-business Accounts Receivables and Collections preferable.
- Must have exemplary verbal and written communications skills at a level suitable for communicating with customers and other internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with Billing and Collections Systems
- Strong customer service skills and advanced training in customer service preferred.
- Deep Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision, demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems and issues.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is strongly desired.
