Chief Financial Officer

Our Companies are seeking experienced financial and accounting professionals to join our fast growing team of CFOs who have a passion for professional growth and a desire to work collaboratively with similar professionals to serve our diverse client base. Full-time and Part-time work available.

Requirements

To qualify for one of our CFO opportunities, candidates must meet the following requirements:


  • Reside within 1 hour of Orlando
  • Bachelor’s degree – required
  • Accounting degree preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Master’s degree – preferred
  • Public Accounting experience
  • Industry finance or accounting experience (corporate experience)
  • 10 years of experience
  • We are accepting candidates who currently reside in Central Florida


Job Summary 

Serve as the CFO for numerous fast growing middle-market sized clients of the firm. A CFO may be paired with 3-6 clients, depending on the size and needs of the clients. CFO’s endeavor to gain a trusted relationship with the CEO and/or Executive Teams of their clients offering strategic growth plans, evaluation and improvement of the client’s accounting processes and procedures, maintaining relationships with Banking and CPA firms, reviewing the financial reporting package, implementation of dashboards, KPIs, business intelligence, growth strategies and exit planning.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Serve as a CFO for numerous middle-market sized companies of the firm.

Duties include, but are not limited to:


  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance.
  • Participate in the development of the organization’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
  • Develop credibility for the finance and accounting function by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends in order to assist the CEO/President and the Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
  • Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
  • Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
  • Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization; optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
  • Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
  • Be an adviser from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Corporation may enter.
  • Evaluation of the finance and accounting division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the function.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and value of CFO Strategic Partners
  • Participate in monthly firm-wide meetings which foster collaboration among the team and provide constant training and new insights for clients.
  • Participate in quarterly meetings with executive team for in-depth discussions on clients.
  • Participation in other firm-wide events periodically as requested.
  • Contribute by way of email responses and shared “best practice” ideas to the entire team and firm clients.
  • Succeed in building partnership-centered, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Assist in collection of client payments to firm.
  • Recognize the needs of clients and address them timely while promoting the overall growth of the firm.
