Job Overview:
The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for the daily creation, oversight, and revision of functional and efficient routes across our service areas. This position coordinates the utilization of drivers, trucks, and equipment to maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service for all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize company software to prepare routes and assign services to the appropriate drivers and trucks for daily operations.
- Manage driver actions and assure completion of services along routes.
- Dispatch drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, driver locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with necessary departments to manage equipment specific customer requests for a given area.
- Promptly resolve service issues for drivers and customers as they arise while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Update and inform customers of service delays in accordance with company standards.
- Collect and report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution.
- Participate in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, and services.
- Perform other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our core values.
- Ensure maximum productivity by achieving or exceeding Company-established goals.
- Answering incoming calls and effectively managing requests and issues from both customers and drivers, ensuring prompt and appropriate resolution.

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift: Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person based at our headquarters in Norwich, NY.
