Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Process Documentation and Reengineering Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing, documenting, and reengineering business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as experience with Federal Financial Management.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement
Develop comprehensive documentation of existing processes, including flowcharts and process maps
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs
Design and implement reengineered processes that enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve overall performance
Conduct process testing and validation to ensure successful implementation of new processes
Provide training and support to staff on new processes and documentation
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of reengineered processes and make adjustments as needed
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in business process management
Ensure compliance with federal financial management regulations and standards
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or a related field
Minimum of 12 years of experience in business process documentation and reengineering
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions
Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Cameo MagicDraw, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with Federal Financial Management, including knowledge of federal financial regulations, standards, and systems
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
SAP Experience (ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA)
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
Certification in Business Process Management (BPM) or related field is preferred

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $169,700.00.
