Momentum Functional Lead

Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Functional Lead to work on site in Rockville, MD to assist in the deployment of the Momentum solution in support of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's business processes. This person will provide their expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team. We are looking for a candidate who has experience with federal financial management using the Momentum application. The position requires hands-on experience in multiple functional areas within federal government financial management. Great opportunity to strengthen client management and leadership skills.

This position can be located in our Rockville, MD or Durham, NC office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Functional Expert with experience implementing the Momentum COTS software to meet system business requirements.
• Provide consultative input and guidance to the project's engineering and functional resources as they implement the system configuration, migrate data, deliver training, and support testing efforts.
• Work alongside the NRC's internal and external contractor personnel.
• Provide functional support for testing such as developing test scenarios and documentation and performing validation testing for the core Momentum application and reports.
• Daily interaction with the client and project manager.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Ten (10) years of experience implementing Momentum COTS software
• Functional Expert with experience implementing the Momentum COTS software to meet system business requirements.
• Experience with Momentum Financials.
• US citizenship or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance required

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Must be flexible to put in the hours needed to meet tight deadlines; Flexibility to work around client's schedule; Must be able to work in a team environment.

• Experience with federal financial systems preferred.
• Experience with federal accounting principles preferred.
• Proficient in SQL with experience writing queries (table joins, inner/outer joins, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities and techniques (working side-by-side with government counterparts).
• Self-starter, quick learner, and team player.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $190,900.00.
