ServiceNow Configuration lead

Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for a tenured ServiceNow Configuration Lead to join our team. The ServiceNow Configuration Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of configurations within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements by leading the configuration of workflows, forms, tables, and other system elements while collaborating with stakeholders and providing technical guidance to the team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis
Collaborate with business users to understand and document detailed functional requirements for ServiceNow configurations, translating them into technical specifications.?
Solution Design
Design and architect comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, including workflow configurations, custom applications, integrations, and data mapping to optimize system functionality.?
Configuration Management
Lead the configuration of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM, and CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the platform.?
Workflow Development
Develop complex workflows within ServiceNow, including approvals, notifications, escalations, and data updates, to streamline business processes.?
Customization and Development
Perform customization and development tasks within ServiceNow using scripting (JavaScript) to enhance functionality and address specific business needs.?
Testing and Quality Assurance
Conduct thorough testing of configurations

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience configuring and customizing the ServiceNow platform
Deep Expertise in ServiceNow
Proven experience with advanced ServiceNow configuration capabilities across various modules (ITSM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM).?
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and data management concepts.?
Business Analysis
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow configurations.?
Project Management
Experience managing ServiceNow configuration projects from initiation to deployment.?
Communication Skills
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.?
Leadership Abilities
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow configuration specialists.?
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field?
Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) certification preferred

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
