Position Description :

CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acquisition Analyst to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in Huntsville, AL. The selected individual will provide acquisition support to meet client requirements for an Army hypersonic rocket and missile program.

This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Provides acquisition support to assist in the development of contract requirement packages and monitoring contractor performance. Support includes the development of Acquisition Plans, Simplified

Provide acquisition support to assist in the development of contract requirement packages and monitoring contractor performance.

Develop Acquisition Plans, Simplified Acquisition Management Plans, and statements of work.

Support the development of independent government cost estimates.

Prepare Justification and Approval (J&A) documents for non-competition contract actions.

Conduct market research and prepare sources sought notices.

Develop and maintain Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR) reporting plans.

Recommend Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) structures.

Track contracting contractor-acquired property and government property.

Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition regulations and policies.

Perform all functional duties independently, typically at a Journeyman labor category level.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

3 to 10 years of experience in acquisition support or a related field.

BA / BS or MA / MS degree in a relevant discipline.

US citizenship and a SECRET clearance are required

Strong knowledge of acquisition principles, including contract requirement development and contractor performance monitoring.

Experience with the development of Acquisition Plans, Simplified Acquisition Management Plans, and statements of work.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Familiarity with DoD acquisition regulations and policies.

Desired qualifications / non-essential skills required :

Experience supporting Army or other DoD programs.

Knowledge of hypersonic weapons systems.

Experience with Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR) reporting.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $173,500.00.
