Our National Asset Management Financial Services Investment client is seeking a dynamic self-motivated (full time/ hybrid) Product Manager/ Technical BSA to assist in the integration of a third-party SaaS tool after a recent acquisition. The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of the disposition management system. You will take ownership of key initiatives, leading the charge on the goal of optimizing system functionality, and driving user adoption. This role offers the opportunity to lead critical integration feature enhancements, optimize business processes, and impact asset management operations. Qualifications:
- 3-6 years in Product Management or as a Technical Business Analyst role preferably with SDLC and new development Sprint experience. Experience with SaaS integrations and working with offshore development teams is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiencies: Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Exposure to custom systems and experience with JIRA for managing tasks and sprints. Intermediate experience writing and reading SQL database queries, with a solid understanding of relational database design and navigation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to think logically and strategically. Ability to identify business inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement improvements effectively.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proven ability to set realistic timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Ability to translate complex technical specifications into clear business requirements. Skilled at working with cross-functional teams, including offshore developers, and effectively liaising with business partners and vendors.
- Experienced in gathering requirements, documenting accurate information, and creating detailed workflow diagrams. Passionate about documentation and business process automation.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and within a team environment. Proactive in setting up meetings, gathering information, and driving projects forward.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of how software products function. Passionate about technology and creating business efficiencies through streamlined processes and automation.
- Bachelor's degree and related job experience and professional product management training classes or certifications a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between business partner stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to enhance collaboration on the closing system's functionality and increase user adoption. Facilitate cross-functional communication between business partners, developers (onshore and offshore), designers, QA, and scrum teams to ensure consistent delivery quality.
- Perform requirements gathering and documentation. Elicit and document detailed business and technical requirements using JIRA. Create process flowcharts, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Translate these requirements into actionable tasks for cross-functional teams.
- Assess current processes, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and implement business process automation. Streamline workflows and manage small feature enhancements alongside business-as-usual (BAU) activities.
- Lead the prioritization, estimation, and implementation of user stories. Manage vendor sprint cycles to ensure timely delivery, quality control, and accurate functionality.
- Oversee the efforts of the vendor's sprint cycles, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, efficient bug resolution, and accurate functionality. Manage timelines to ensure they are realistic and met consistently.
- Ensure smooth deployment of features and enhancements by coordinating with development teams
Write SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and testing purposes. Understand data structures and APIs to participate in technical discussions and guide decisions on system integrations. - Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot system issues, and provide resolutions.
- Help develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and workflow diagrams. Deliver training sessions to internal and external users to drive adoption and optimize usage.
- Conduct user research and interviews to gather insights and refine product requirements. Communicate the impact of design decisions on business outcomes and user experience.
