Job Description : Property Maintenance Specialist

Location : Near Seven Springs Mountain Resort (e.g., Somerset, Melcroft, PA)

Hours : Variable (20-30 hours per week on average)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Maintenance Specialist to manage and maintain a large private home situated on 140 wooded acres. The role requires a hands-on individual with expertise in operating various equipment and performing general property upkeep.

Responsibilities

Grounds Maintenance :

Snow plowing and removal during winter months.

• Regular trail maintenance, including clearing debris, removing dead trees, weed whacking, and general upkeep of 11 miles of trails.
• Leaf blowing and weed whacking around the home.

Firewood Management :

Cutting, hauling, and splitting firewood from the property’s wooded areas.

Pest Control :

Trapping field mice and ensuring the home remains pest-free.

General Maintenance and Repairs :

Performing minor repairs (e.g., unclogging drains, lubrication of equipment).

Equipment Operation and Maintenance :

Operating and maintaining a tractor, RUV, chainsaw, leaf blower, and wood splitter.

External Vendor Coordination :

Interfacing with repair professionals, particularly for audio / visual systems, HVAC systems, and property gate maintenance.

Hot Tub Maintenance :

Ensuring proper operation and upkeep of the hot tub during winter months.
