What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk / Host Positions Available!!! position at Cha Chas Latin Kitchen?
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet guests as they arrive and seat them at appropriate tables.
- Manage the restaurant's waiting list during peak dining hours, ensuring guests are seated in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and maintain flow in the dining area.
- Provide menus to guests and answer any questions about menu items or special promotions.
- Handle reservations, including taking bookings over the phone and managing online reservation systems.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the host/hostess station and lobby area.
- Monitor dining room for seating availability, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a welcoming and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
