Job Summary:
Join our team as a dedicated Teacher who is passionate about education and fostering a nurturing environment for young learners at Torah Academy. We are a Jewish day school in the Melbourne, Viera area.
Positions available in our preschool and elementary school classrooms.
Duties:
- Develop and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in children.
- Establish a secure and encouraging learning atmosphere that caters to the individual needs of each student.
- Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Evaluate student progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding their child's development.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers and staff members to ensure a comprehensive educational journey for students.
- Employ diverse teaching strategies to captivate students' interest and facilitate effective learning experiences.
Skills:
- Proficient in lesson planning
- Prior experience in school setting
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with young students, parents, and peers.
- Knowledge of teaching methodologies in private school or Montessori environments is a plus.
