Location: Denver, CO or San Francisco.CA- Day 1 Onsite( Candidates needs to work 5 Days at the Client Office)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manual QA Tester to join our Business Systems Analyst team . As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications by identifying, reporting, and verifying defects.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:
o Develop detailed test plans and test cases covering various aspects of the application, including functionality, usability, performance, and security.
o Execute manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
o Identify, report, and track defects using testing tools and methodologies.
Defect Reporting and Verification:
o Create detailed and accurate defect reports, including steps to reproduce and expected results.
o Verify defects and confirm fixes to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaboration and Communication:
o Collaborate closely with developers, business systems analysts and other stakeholders to communicate testing results and ensure timely resolution of defects
o Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with internal stakeholders, as needed.
Process Improvement:
o Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
o Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
Experience:
o 3-5 years of experience in Manual Testing of software applications.
Skills:
o Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
o Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as JIRA, Qtest, or UiPath Test Manager.
o Knowledge of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience with:
o Automated testing tools, such as Selenium or Tosca.
