**$1,000 sign on bonus ($250 paid at 3 months of employment & $250 paid at 6 months & $500 paid at 1 year of employment)

PAY

This position pays $15.25 per hour

SHIFT

The hours are 6:45a - 4pm with flexibility to work before and after scheduled shift times and weekends as required.

JOB SUMMARY:

The shipping and receiving forklift operator verifies and maintains accurate records on incoming and outgoing product. The shipping and receiving forklift operator will manually move product, stock or other materials to designated areas within warehouse/production floor. The shipping and receiving clerk will maintain critical supply inventories to ensure that the necessary product needed to manufacture requested goods are available for production; as well as ensure that proper receipt of raw materials ordered by the company are accurate upon arrival to warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Move freight, stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery
• vehicles or containers by hand, pallet jack, pallet mover or forklift.
• Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments from and to the warehouse
• Examine contents and compare with records, invoices or orders to verify the accuracy of incoming and
• outgoing shipment
• Record number of units handled or moved using daily production sheets
• Communicate with management to address any problems such as damages, shortages
• Ensures effective and smooth operations between the warehouse and other departments to maintain
• efficiency
• Prepares all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills; high sense of urgency
• Ability to read, understand and present information in writing clearly for others to comprehend
• Must pay close attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative and be self motivated; work with minimal supervision

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Prior shipping and receiving experience required
• Proficient in operating pallet jacks, order pickers, reach trucks, and RF scanners
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be forklift certified; operate sit down and standup lifts

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Will work in environment where safety precautions are required to be followed
• Protective gear such as gloves, work boots, and smocks required at all times
• Will work around moving machinery
• Will work in environment where temperature vary from 0 - 40 degrees Fahrenheit

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Moderate to heavy physical work required
• Regularly required to walk, reach, bend and stand for long periods of time throughout the day
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to push/pull heavy loads

Will be expected to perform other related duties and assignments requested or directed
