This person will report to the Director of Plant Human Resources and will be responsible for leading, directing, and evaluating the human resources function at each of their designated plants. The ideal candidate will easily be able to collaborate with senior leadership in the implementation of the organization's mission and people strategy. Who We Want
We are looking for a Regional Human Resources Manager to support our company’s growth and team development. This person will report to the Director of Plant Human Resources and will be responsible for leading, directing, and evaluating the human resources function at each of their designated plants. What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the assigned Plant HR teams through day-to-day HR activities at the plant level.
- Will travel to plant locations under their support as needed.
- Coordinate hourly recruitment efforts including confirming hiring needs with Plant HR Teams and coordinating use of staffing agencies.
- Work with Plant HR teams to make sure all payroll processes are followed, and payrolls are done accurately and efficiently.
- Work with plants to coordinate plans to lower turnover, increase engagement and advance company cultural goals.
- Work with plant leadership in Organizational Development and succession planning.
- Partner with Operations to identify areas of development and training needed for salary team.
- Counsels Leadership on creation of Performance Improvement Plans for salary team.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies, including administration of attendance points policy; issuing written discipline documents; investigating alleged misconduct; and coaching plant leadership on disciplinary matters.
- Establish and maintain department records and reports, as appropriate.
- Participate in leadership staff meetings and attend other meetings as necessary
- Work with any unions to maintain compliance with CBAs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Participate in unemployment hearings when necessary.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be determined by the Director of Plant Human Resources.
- Minimum of 8 years’ HR Management experience required in a similarly sized company
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- PHR / SHRM-CP/SCP certificate preferred
- Manufacturing or automotive background preferred

- 20% overnight travel required
