3RD OR 4TH YEAR ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE

Commercial and/or Industrial experience is preferred
$35.95-$43.65 (DOE) PLUS BENEFITS - with verifiable hours AND accredited education
Plus daily incentive pay
Daily incentive pay offered of $100.00 a day if the entire 10hr shift is worked. There is no travel required for this position, great workin
g environment - work week is typically 4/10 shift.
Overtime opportunities likely
There is no travel required for this position, great working environment, work week is typically 4/10 shift, but during large work loads, 5/10 shifts are occasionally necessary. Tuition Reimbursement Program is offered for apprentice who meet qualifications (Accredited Apprentice Program and GPA requirements) .
ALL Qualified Applicants MUST:
- Be a licensed apprentice in the State of Idaho or obtain an Idaho license prior to employment
- Possess basic hand tools needed for electrical work
- Abide by any and all safety regulation(s) on apparatuses used on job site(s) and abide by any requirements and/or regulations on job site by client/host
Preference will be shown for apprentices with the following abilities:
- Bend and install EMT
- Install and terminate wire from #18 to 750 MCM
- Read and understand electrical drawings, procedures and/or regulations on job site by client/host
Physical requirements include:
- Lift 50 lbs non-repetitively
- Work with hands above head for extended periods of time
- Access and work from various sizes and types of ladders and not exceed their listed ANSI weight limitations (weight includes personal weight plus tools and/or tool bag)
- Access and work in sub-floor areas that require maneuvering in tight, congested area on hands and knees
- Work in mechanical areas, above ducting and other facilities where tight maneuvering is required
- Work in permit and non-permit confined space access point that can be 24" X 24"
- Wear all forms of PPE that are provided and required
Additional consideration will be given to applicants with the following:
- OSHA 10 or 30 complete
- Experience and training in industrial safety and NFPA 70E
- Experience in high protocol semi-conductor environments such as clean rooms, server rooms, ESD areas.
- Experience bending conduit from 3/4" to 4" using hydraulic table benders and triple nickel benders
- Experience installing other conductor raceways such as basket tray, cable tray, gutter, and wire mold.
