Position Scope:
We are seeking talented and competitive Business Development Managers (BDMs) to excel in a fast-paced sales environment. Under the guidance of the VP of Sales, these BDMs will play a vital role in driving profitable sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understanding customer needs and requirements
- Identifying Sales Prospects for further development and closure
- Closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas
- Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest
- Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects
- Collaborating with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Performing effective online demos to prospects
- Working with all departments during the onboarding of secured business
- Others duties as assigned by VP of Sales
Qualifications:
- Proven Business Development Experience in the Transportation industry (TL Sales)
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask
- Effective teamwork skills
- Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills
