What You’ll Be Accountable For
- Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, and accounting software.
- Prepare and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial documents in accordance with established procedures.
- Debit, credit, and reconcile accounts using spreadsheets and specialized accounting databases.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial and/or accounting roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with experience using accounting software.
