Position Summary
The Employee Relations Investigator is responsible for conducting prompt, thorough, objective, and confidential investigations into internal and external complaints related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and policy violations. This role ensures all investigations adhere to the Company’s established policies and procedures and manages these processes on a global scale.

Accountabilities
- Conduct Workplace Investigations: Lead investigations into complaints involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other policy violations, ensuring they are conducted promptly, thoroughly, objectively, and confidentially on a global level.
- Prepare Investigative Reports: Develop detailed written reports in a timely manner for review by the Investigations Manager and distribute final reports to Senior Management, Legal Counsel, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and other senior leaders.
- Manage Evidence: Identify, collect, analyze, and preserve documentary and physical evidence related to investigations.
- Communicate Findings: Present investigative findings to the Senior Manager of Harassment & Discrimination Investigations, Legal Counsel, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and other senior leaders based on thorough fact-finding and analysis.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with senior management, legal counsel, HR, and other departments to ensure comprehensive and effective investigation outcomes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Human Resources, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in a corporate setting investigating policy violations will also be considered.
- 5-8 years of corporate investigative experience, including handling harassment and discrimination investigations. Extensive experience conducting effective workplace investigations, including in-person and virtual interviews with employees and vendors across all functional areas.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Strong analytical, fact-finding, and evidence-gathering skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain credibility at all organizational levels.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive, employment-related information.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple cases effectively.
- Flexibility and a sense of urgency in handling various cases simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proven track record of conducting thorough and impartial investigations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to travel 10-15% of the time as required.
