This role will be responsible for analyzing critical business functions, documenting processes, and developing user task guides to support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) in the event of a technology disruption. The 6-month project will focus on one business group at a time, ensuring that tested and agreed-upon user guides are developed for each group before progressing to the next. What You Will Be Accountable For
- Perform process observations and data analysis to document workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create process maps and visual “how-to” guides to assist business groups in managing operations during technology disruptions.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma techniques to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, validate processes, and ensure alignment on Business Continuity Planning (BCP) user guides.
- Develop and test detailed user task guides for each business group before progressing to the next phase.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and usability of all created documentation.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive business readiness and operational improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, industrial engineering, or business process analysis.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred).
- Experience with business continuity planning (BCP) and process documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analytics and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Minitab, Power BI, Excel).
- Experience in conducting process observations and working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and develop comprehensive user guides and process documentation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, large-scale operational environment (e.g., aviation, logistics, or transportation preferred).
