What You’ll Be Accountable For
- Sales & Business Development (Account Growth, No Cold Calling)
- Serve as the face of the service division, strengthening relationships with existing clients through proactive communication and site visits.
- Support account managers in identifying and closing service opportunities (leak repairs, maintenance agreements, small projects).
- Attend job sites to assess service needs, provide pricing, and ensure accurate quoting through FCS software.
- Mine existing client base for opportunities to upsell additional services and expand revenue.
- Collaborate with the business development and lead generation teams to ensure smooth transition of newly acquired service opportunities.
- Project & Financial Management
- Oversee service quoting and pricing, ensuring fast turnaround times for proposals.
- Work closely with operations to coordinate service work, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Ensure billing is processed within 24 hours, managing job closeouts and tracking profitability.
- Maintain strong understanding of roofing warranty requirements (Firestone, Carlisle, etc.) to ensure compliance.
- Track and operate FCS program to monitor service requests, job progress, and financial reporting.
- Field Operations & Compliance
- Conduct daily job site visits to review ongoing service work and resolve customer concerns.
- Ensure service quality control, including material tracking, technician performance, and project completion standards.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry regulations (OSHA 10 required), safety compliance, and local building codes.
- 3–5 years of experience in service sales, account management, or commercial roofing sales
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, service best practices, and warranty compliance (Firestone and other manufacturer specifications).
- Prior experience managing a field-based team with supervisory responsibilities (3–6 direct reports).
- Strong financial acumen in budgeting, job costing, billing, and service profitability tracking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where schedules change daily and rapid problem-solving is required.
- Proficiency in CRM and service management tools (Zoho Projects preferred, but not required).
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (must qualify for company vehicle)
