What You Will Be Accountable For
- Assist in the development and management of a comprehensive IT compliance program
- Assess IT controls, document findings, and recommend remediation steps to leadership
- Design and execute detailed IT control testing procedures across multiple domains
- Analyze IT processes to identify control strengths, gaps, and risks
- Interpret and provide consultative guidance on IT-related regulations and certification requirements (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, HITRUST)
- Support regulatory readiness and ongoing governance processes
- Collaborate across departments to improve risk and compliance posture
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, IT Security, or Cloud Security OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of relevant experience in the same fields
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and certification frameworks, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and HITRUST
- Proven experience in IT control testing and compliance gap analysis
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and apply regulatory expectations
- Excellent communication and report writing skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with compliance tracking systems, audit tools, or GRC platforms is a plus
