Warehouse Clerk (Part-Time Seasonal)

Description

This is a part-time, seasonal position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some required Saturday's, 7:00 a.m. to noon-ish, according to seasonal needs.

The Warehouse Clerk is a professional that helps receive, store, and distribute agricultural products within the warehouse and facility location. This includes everything from physically moving inventory, to keeping the warehouse clean and properly maintaining shipping and receiving records. In addition to the organizational skills and physical strength required to manage and store product, this position requires the ability to manage administrative and clerical details to keep the warehouse running smoothly. This is a fast-paced, entry-level position. 

Requirements

  Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions

· Receive products and check them for damage 

· Report about any damaged product or order discrepancies

· Load and unload materials from delivery trucks

· Move products to designated storage, bin, or staging locations

· Pick, pack and process customer orders for inspection and delivery

· Use WMS (warehouse management software) program to monitor inventory

· Assist with physical inventory counts

· Keep warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis

· Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople, forklift and customer traffic

· Operate trucks, forklifts or other machinery required to transport agricultural chemical products 

· Notify manager when equipment repairs are needed 

· Label products and items according to company requirements

· Wear proper PPE and follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines

· Other assigned tasks to support and improve overall team operations

Qualifications: 

· High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

· Valid driver’s license required

· Forklift experience a plus

· Physical strength, stamina and ability to lift heavy product up to 75 pounds

· Vision and hand-eye coordination needed to operate heavy machinery 

· Hard working, reliable, good attitude and sound work ethic

· Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills

· Computer literacy and proficiency with MSFT office tools

Salary and Benefits

$15.74 - $16.50 per hour. Actual hourly rate may differ based upon location skills and experience. The position does not offer any benefits. Details to be discussed during application process.
