The Staffing Assistant is responsible for the matching and staffing of home care aides to clients and families. They will provide support to the internal team, caregivers, and clients. They will also assist in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
Qualifications:
● High school graduation/General Education Degree (GED) required, associate degree or
bachelor’s degree in business administration or office management preferred
● One-year experience in homecare staffing preferred
● Skilled with using Personal Care Wellsky is a plus
● One year of experience in a healthcare related field
● Home Care Aide License
● Advanced computer skills in business applications (WellSky, Google Docs, Sheets,
Excel, DocuSign, Quickbooks, Paychex, etc.)
● Must possess a current driver’s license and a dependable insured automobile
● Must present a professional appearance and promote a positive work environment
● Strong grasp of federal and state laws and ethical issues pertaining to PHI confidentiality
and HIPAA requirements
● Possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with diverse populations
● Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to assigned duties
● Ability to multitask effectively
Duties:
● Demonstrates embodiment of our mission, vision and values
● Reports to the Staffing Director and assists them with any needs
● Managing a large volume of inbound and outbound calls and requests from company
communication channels.
● Answering the main office phone, greeting visitors, and responding to emails and other
digital queries.
● Liaising communication between the clients, caregivers and families.
● Using the Well Sky System to take detailed notes, input schedules and accommodate
changes or unexpected events.
● Overseeing clerical tasks , such as creating folders for new clients and new hires
● Keeping inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed
● Assists with all facets of the operations and any needs as determined by the CEO
● Maintains and develops strong relationships with all our caregivers
● Acts as a care coordinator to assess and start new cases
● Assist the team with recruiting, employing, and retaining qualified personnel to maintain
adequate staffing.
● Ensures security of all personnel and client records including computer-based
documentation.
● Maintains organization of all home care agency reference material.
● Establishes and maintains effective lines of communications, including use of integration
of new technology.
● Assist Office Manager with recruiting, employing, and retaining qualified personnel to
maintain adequate staffing.
● Provides personnel development including orientation, in-services, continuing education,
competency testing, and performance improvement opportunities.
● Complies with all agency policies, and procedures
● Maintains confidentiality of client, employee, and agency operations
● Promotes client, personnel, and office safety
● Resolves conflicts and manages complaints.
● Presents a professional appearance and promotes a positive work environment
● Serves as receptionist/operator as assigned.
● Delegates specific responsibilities to other personnel, when appropriate.
● Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
