As an Interior Designer, you will work closely with clients, architects, builders, and vendors to conceptualize and execute designs that meet client goals and reflect their unique style. Your role will involve overseeing design projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and adherence to budgets and timelines.

This position will begin as a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work remotely during the first six months. After this period, the role will transition to an on-site, full-time position to ensure hands-on collaboration and seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and project objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive design concepts, including mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings.
  • Select and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with the project vision and budget.
  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and construction documentation using design software.
  • Work alongside architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design integrity and feasibility.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Present design concepts and updates to clients and gather feedback for revisions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and technologies to deliver innovative design solutions.
  • Coordinate installations and on-site visits to ensure designs are executed as planned.
  • Take full ownership of projects, from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless client experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and/or commercial interior design projects.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take projects from initial concept through to final execution independently.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities to engage clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and ADA compliance.
  • Ability to balance creativity with functionality and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in new construction or large-scale remodeling projects.
  • Expertise in luxury residential, commercial and/or hospitality design.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work model for the first six months, transitioning to full-time on-site work.
  • Office-based with regular on-site visits to client locations.
  • Flexible to accommodate project needs and client schedules.
