The Champaign Country Club is looking for an energetic and dedicated hospitality
professional to lead our Poolside Summer Dining operations for the 2025 season. A
natural leader with fresh ideas, and a high work ethic will thrive in this role. The CCC
Summer Dining Lounge provides a wide variety of food, drinks, and activities to our
Members poolside in a casual setting, while still providing high level service in
accordance with CCC guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management:
- Hire, train, and supervise snack bar staff
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during
peak hours.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
- Food Operations:
- Manage food inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and communicating
orders
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards.
- Implement proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests at the snack
bar.
- Address customer concerns and complaints promptly.
- Promote special snack bar promotions and menu items.
- Operational Management:
- Ensure compliance with all CCC standards and local health regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the snack bar area.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures,and inventory checks.
- Coordinate with other club departments to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food service management, ideally within a club or
hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with members
and guests.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
