The Champaign County State’s Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for a Victim Witness Advocate position, available immediately. Victim Witness Advocates assist and support crime victims and witnesses through the criminal justice process. A successful applicant must be interested and able to work with individuals during high stress and highly emotional cases, including crimes of violence and crimes involving child victims. A successful applicant must also be highly organized, proficient in the use of technology, and have strong communication skills. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, a graduate level degree in a relevant field or experience in the criminal justice system or social services is preferred. Proficiency in foreign languages is preferred.02/18/2025
This is a Pay Grade G position: Pay Range $19.80 – $29.69 per hour.
